Sibley Mill
Note: This is an -active- site. While the mill is not active, the hydroelectric power plant is. There is security and they do patrol. You have a high chance of being arrested while going here. At the beginning of the Civil War gunpowder supplies for the Confederate armies were insufficient. In 1861 Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederacy, charged Colonel George Washington Rains with solving this issue by creating a local supply of gunpowder. Rains chose the flat lands by the Augusta Canal as the most suitable site for making the much needed gunpowder. He named Major Charles Shaler Smith as architect to design the Confederate Powder Works.

Separated At Birth?
I've spent about a month on Gaia, and in this time I've made a peculiar realization.
Adult-mode Gino Gambino reminds me a whole ton of Radu. Maybe it's the eyebrows (although I bet Radu secretly wishes his hair did that).

House And Barn
This place was RIGHT across from the cemetery that I posted on ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) mourning_souls (click here if you want to see the cemetery pics)....
This place is some-kind of story house with a barn across from it.
I would've taken more pics, but it was getting dark and I felt like I wasn't wanted there.
However, my fiance was waiting AT the cemetery for me while I went here myself.

Wassup Motherfuckers?
I'm back from the dead, bolder, stronger, more hungrierer for cupcakes!!! I will rape your horses, steal your village and plunder your wives. If you get in my way I will come down on you with the wrath of 1000 cranky toddlers! You have been warned...
Moving to a new place on the 1st of the month. Going to be closer to friends and work. I'm moving into a really nice place with a lesbian couple. I will have my own room with a private bathroom and walk-in closet (no more shared studio!!!). We have a balcony with a gorgeous view of the bay. The apartment complex has a bunch of swimming pools, a hottub, and a gym. They have two of the cutest chihuahuas you have ever seen. I'm sad to be leaving Thao behind, but I am really going to enjoy having a little privacy. I think, if anything, Thao and I will prolly grow as friends as we won't fight as much.
Not much new on the romance tip. I met a really cool chick who's boyfriend is cool with us messing around, heh. She has been a nice distraction from my solitude, and I love hanging out with her (she rocks), but I am in the mood for something a little more emotionally fullfilling romance-wise. Gone on quite a few dates through Craigslist and OKCupid, but have yet to meet someone I'm head over heels for.
I've gotten a promotion of sorts at work. I am now earning commision on top of my salary. My recruting duties are lessening and I am learning to program in Actionscript 3 as well as handling accounts for our CDN. I enjoy it bery much though the sales aspects of my account management duties are a little daunting.
I'm going back to Florida at the end of August for a friend's wedding. I haven't seen my family or friends in over a year, so I am incredibly eager to get back.

Lunchy Goodness
I pretend to eat healthily by going slightly mental with my sandwiches for work.
Today's special: 1.5ish cm thick slices of freash wholemeal bread, spread with some fake notbutter, a layer of cress, a layer of spicey chicken rubbish, a layer of beetroot, a multicoloured layer of pepper (red&green), a layer of cucumber, finished with layer of lettuce and topped by the other slice of bread. Two of said sarnies, accomplanied by a banana, two appples and an orange consumed over my two breaks and washed down with a bit of stale water. I don't think I'n convincing anyone, but it's fun to see their faces when i brandish me lunch... probably one hour sleep wasn't enough :D

Home from work. The sandwiches were... interesting. I think perhaps the beetroot doesn;t mix well with the spiceyness. Ah well, same again tomorrow though! Cos the ingredients need eating now they're got :P
Oh, and driving while as tired as I was on the way home just now is plin idiotic! Don't do it.
